Hi Fomers,
After blindly writing each time step data on hard disk for a while, the writing speed of my hard disk becomes super low (900 kb/s). The data size for each simulation can be 100GB...(Yea, I just saved data from 0 to 1000s, write data every 0.125s). In fact, my tests should be periodic, but I need 100 cycles to wait for tests (current) to be fully converged.

Three short questions:
  1. 1 Can I control the writing process of OpenFoam, make it start to write at a specific time step?
  2. 2 Can I save the data to memory (my workstation has memory 64GB), and then read data from memory?
  3. 3 Can I rescue my hard disk since its writting speed has become unacceptably slow...

Best regards,
Tanwk
