I have carried out a 2D transient simulation in OpenFOAM. Now that the simulation is done, how do I calculate the time averaged flow field?
I am aware that there is a "fieldAverage" option available that needs to be put in the controlDict. But in my case, I have calculated the flow field with "fieldAverage" option. What I specifically want to calculate is time averaged flow field from a given starting time to a given ending time. I do not want to calculate spatial average. |

fieldAverage function does compute time averaged values of the selected field(s).
I do not know what OpenFOAM version you are using so here is the documentation of the function for OpenFOAM-v2006 : https://www.openfoam.com/documentati...ldAverage.html |
