Urban Flow

Hi,
I'm a new user of openFOAM and I've run the windAroundBuilddings case and seen the following forums:

https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/op...at-viable.html

https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/op...tml#post260727

https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/op...-openfoam.html

https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/op...-openfoam.html

and none of them gave me a concrete answer on how I can put my urban environment, .obj file on windAroundBuildings.

Someone could help?

Hi,

At its simplest, you need to replace the file name in snappyHexMeshDict with the name of your OBJ file. You also need to ensure that the vertices in blockMeshDict, and the locationInMesh point in snappyHexMeshDict are in line for your case.

Can you elaborate on what exactly you mean by
Quote:

"how I can put my urban environment, .obj file on windAroundBuildings"
?

Cheers,
Antimony
