I am trying to run icoFoam through a geometry made by Gmsh. For meshing, I have used snappyHexMesh. For that I had the geometry made with Gmsh by someone else and converted to a *.stl file.
The meshing seems fine when I see it in Paraview. But when I run icoFoam, all the diagnostics show zero (e.g. Courant numbers, all the residuals etc.). I was surfing to resolve the issue, that's when I found that it might be because in the *.stl file the regions aren't named as I have named them in the p and U files in the 0 folder. How to resolve this? I have attached some files here which I thought might be helpful to understand the problem. |
