Hey all,
So I need to have a high resolution zone inside a larger area. I have tried many different methods and have finally arrived to a method that works, but I'm getting a lot of mesh errors and warnings. I was wondering if anyone has a good method for creating this type of high resolution zone within a block mesh. My current approach is to create multiple blocks and use mergePatchPairs to "glue" them together. I have also used refineMesh, but refineMesh only doubles the resolution and I would like to have an even higher resolution zone than double the resolution. Thanks in advance, my blockMesh is attached. Last edited by JoostLinthorst; September 15, 2022 at 09:14. Reason: BlockMeshDict didn't attach |

Using snappyHexMesh's refinementBox works like a charm.
