Seeking references on solving species equations in icoreactingmultiphaseinterfoam

I am currently working on a project that involves the icoreactingmultiphaseinterfoam model in OpenFOAM, and I am particularly interested in how the model solves the species equations. I am looking for some references to better understand this aspect of the model and its applications.
