Dear OpenFoamers,

I am running a mixer vessel case with water as continuous phase and air bubbles entering it as particles. I defined a MRF region around the impeller to account for the rotation of the impeller. But the effects of MRF rotation is not showing in liquid phase (ex: U.water plots).

Does denseParticleFoam only solves the motion of particles and does not consider the rotation effects on liquid?

Thanks for the response in advance.

Hi Shaik,

Did you find an answer to this? I am trying something similar and I also have the feeling that the rotation is not handled. Did you find any solution? I really want to avoid using mesh motion to solve for the rotation.
