photooxidation reactions in openFOAM
 

Hello everyone,


I'm new to OpenFOAM and encountering some challenges. I'm currently simulating a Taylor flow with a pseudo-first order chemical reaction. While the flow simulation itself is running smoothly, I'm unsure of how to incorporate my photooxidation reaction into it. I'm wondering if there are any tutorials available or specific modules I should use for this purpose.


In my previous simulations using COMSOL, I utilized the transport of diluted species. I'm unsure if there is an equivalent approach in OpenFOAM.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance on this matter. I apologize if this is a basic question, but I'm still learning my way around OpenFOAM.
