Equation of Motion of flapping airfoil in sixDoFRigidBodyMotion

I am trying to simulate a flapping foil that moves due to forces of incoming flow. There are equations of motion that has to be solved which gives the velocities and displacement which governs the motion of the foil (see the pictures) . My question is how to make these equations solve using the lift and moment data from the fluid solver and move the foil accordingly? Do I have to make a new restraint or is there a way of using the ODEsolvers RKF45 for this purpose is their another more efficient way. Thank you Attachment 99495 Attachment 99496 |
