Quadcores does Intelbs performance justify itbs cost -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Obviously, Phenom is much cheaper, but is there any idea about approximate computing power ratios for them? I'm wondering if comp. power justifies the price... Somehow Intel is currently assumed to be faster. Regards
