hi,
i worked some month ago on similar things and as far as i remember there were two different index-systems :one local in the block and one for the whole mesh - maybe thats causing the problem?!(only in case you are using more than one block..) i think i used a function called "whichPatch" or "whichFace" to convert the index... hope that helps?! regards stephan |

I've noticed the different index-systems and I believe the way I have been doing it should take account for that? This is why my Owner and Neighbour lists are generated from the faceCells counting value. Then I use the faceCells[cell] value (which should be the value from the actual mesh) for use when getting the cell centre value for output.
I will have a look at those functions and see if it will help. Thanks for the input Stephen. I'm hoping to make something which will be made available to the community and be pretty useful for anyone doing LES simulations. David |
