Dear all,

We are pleased to announce that the Fourth OpenFOAM Workshop will be held in Montreal on June 1-4 2009. It will be co-organized by Hydro-Quebec (http://www.hydroquebec.com) and Polytechnique Montreal (http://wwww.polymtl.ca).

On June 1, a basic training day will be organized. On June 2-3, technical presentations and discussions will be scheduled. On June 4, working group meetings will be planned.

This is a preliminary announcement to allow interested people to plan in advance their participation. Further and more detailed information will be given soon (http://www.openfoamworkshop.org).

It might be of interest to note that the 11th ISGG Conference on Numerical Grid Generation will be held on May 25-28 at Polytechnique Montreal (http://www.isgg.org).

This is a remainder that the Short abstract should be submitted before 2009 March 1st for the Fourth OpenFOAM Workshop (Montreal, June 1-4, 2009).

Technical sessions, plenary sessions and poster seesions will be held on June 2nd and June 3rd. June 4th will be dedicated to collaborative work. It will be encouraged through working group activities, BoF sessions, clinics and plenary sessions.

For the benefit of new users and people interested in knowing the OpenFOAM simulation platform, a Basic Training will be organized on June 1st. For more advanced users, an Advanced Training will also be organized on June 1st.

Online registration is available for the Fourth OpenFOAM Workshop (June 1-4, 2009, Montreal) : http://www.openfoamworkshop.org. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to proceed with the online payment with credit card.

Registration deadline has been extended to May 1st, for the Workshop and the Trainings. Please don't wait to register and don't forget that the number of participants could be limited (trainings and workshop).

A preliminary program for the Technical sessions based on the contributed abstracts is already available (more than 30 abstracts). Basic and Advanced Trainings are available on June 1st. June 4th is dedicated to collaborative work. It will be encouraged through working group activities, clinics, BoF sessions and plenary sessions.
