A free surface problem

Dear all,

I am a newbie. I'd like to simulate the following simple case. Would you please tell me where I can find a similar tutorial case to learn the modelling.

The tested case is a 2D rectangular tank which is partially filled with water and will move with a sinusoidal signal. The measured data is the pressure response at a certain point and free-surface elevation at a certain vertical position. A laminar model is preferred for the case.

Many thanks!

Take a look at interDyMFoam, this should be what you need. There are several tutorials available for sloshing tanks as well to help you get started.
