OpenFOAM hangs while taking a screenshot

Hi, I'm new to OpenFOAM. My OpenFOAM hangs whenever I try to take a screenshot, and then restores control after about 7-8 seconds. Is this normal? Otherwise it seems pretty zippy. Also, while trying to do the sample case in inoDymFoam, if i tick the Point Field Status checkbox while applying the case to see the simulation, it crashes.
One more small thing, In the porperties pane in the object inspector, i can rarely tick a superfield like Region status, and Volfield status. I have to tick each sub part individually.

i tried to save the animation also, but that totally locked the system.

I have recently installed a video driver that is compatible with the program, any suggestions on the driver would also be really welcome. Thanks.
