combustion flow simulation

HI...ville

i have found ur replies to users r so helpful for me too....

i have a similar problem and hope u can help me out...

My objective is to simulate the realistic flow involving combustion of propellant(i.e.liquid fuel and liquid oxidiser)with cooling ,Thus exploring the capabilities of CFD tool and demonstrating its usefulness in supporting the design and optimization process of modern rocket engines.
is there a facility in fluent 6.3.26 for liquid-liquid impingement flame jet or limited to "liquid fuel and gaseous oxidiser" only?
can i get all the performance parameters, temperature, pressure, spatial spray distribution, droplet diameter, thrust obtianable.....
i was going through fluent tutorials can i solve this as"EQUILIBRIUM CHEMISTRY MODEL of NON PREMIXED,NON ADIABATIC,UNSTEADY LAMINAR FLEMELET with SINGLE MIXTURE FRACTION COMBUSTION PROBLEM?
Please someone suggest me with some idea to slove this problem...
thank you for spending ur precious time.
regards,
Honey.

It is better to post your question in Fluent forum.

Comustion After Sprark ignition

Dear Foamer,.
I am working on model in which air(O2 and N2) already present in a domain and Propane is inserted from inlet with certain velocity with fixed mass say 4.5 tonn.

I have to start ignition only after whole mass comes in domain.
but in case of Firefoam and other foam reaction starts suddenly when fuel comes in contact with O2 that is not my requirement.

In other Foams given in tutorial works on Spark ignition but not build with radiation model and species mass fraction.

please help me

@geetha sri
Fuel burns unless it comes in vapor phase.
For droplet or spray combustion liquid droplets has to become a vapor for get involved in combustion reaction.
