viewing with paraFoam

I'm working through some of the tutorials, but can't figure out how to load fields into paraFoam - it seems to automatically load the mesh and the fields are displayed (check boxes) but I can't figure out how to make the fields show up in the display panel (to the right). Is there some trick I'm missing?

All a case of confusion - one must select "Surface" Representation in the Display tab before one obtains the option to color by fields...
