Dear my friends:
I am almost a beginner in OpenFOAM. I know about C++ language, FLUENT and also CFD. I have to, for a project, start learning the OpenFOAM. When I install it for the first time, I found it confusing. I think maybe its my fault that I do not know hoe to start it. Therefore, if it is possible please help me with some hints to start it. Thanks in advance, Mehrdad |

Dear Mehrdad,
I understand that you haven't figured out how to run the software. So please have a look through the tutorials described in chapter 2 of the User's Guide for inspiration. You can find the PDFs in $FOAM_SRC/../doc/Guides-a4 Further steps on "How to learn OF" are in http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...ogramming.html Regards, Henrik |
