Hello,
a lot of Tensors in OpenFOAM are defined as symmetrical Tensors (volSymmTensorField). I need to summate a symmetrical tensor with a antisymmatrical tensor. Since symmetrical Tensors in OF only consist of 6 components (because the other 3 components are the same, because its symmetrical) I need to convert the symmetrical tensor into a full tensor (9 components) before I can summate it with the antisymmetrical tensor (which also consists of 9 components). Is there any function which is able to convert a symmetrical tensor (6 components) into a full tensor (9 components)? Thanks a lot! |
