Default heating water in a bottle

Is it possible to use openfoam to model the heating of water in a closed bottle with a certain amount of headspace? I would like to measure the temperature of the water and the resulting pressure in the bottle as the water changes to water vapour in the headspace. Any ideas?

Hi bigred.

I'm a little bit confused. What is a 'headspace'?
Did you mistyped 'heatspace' and are meaning (specific) 'heat capacity'?

The headspace is the volume of gas above the liquid surface in a sealed bottle. for example, a cola bottle is filled to a certain amount and the space that is left (between the liquid and the cap) is a headspace of CO2.

Hi bigred.

Sorry, I just wasn't sure but now everything is clear.
So you will need a multiphase solver which is capable of handling phase change due to evaporation.
I think there is an incompressible solver doing exactly this: interPhaseChangeFoam.
