Hello FOAMers,

I am running some duct flow magnetohydrodynamic simulations using the mhdFoam solver.

I would like to know the meaning of the input parameter "mu" listed in the constant/transportProperties file. Is it the relative permeability or the total permeability (relative mu * mu vacuum) of the fluid?

Based on its physical units in the transportProperties file, "mu" seems to be the total permeability, but I would like to confirm this info with you guys because when I try to model fluids with low permeability, close to that of vacuum (1.2566e-6), the Courant number exceeds stability bounds in just a few iterations, no matter how small the time step I use.

Best regards.
