Cyclic Boundary Condition/Periodic boundary
 

hey there fellow foamers.i am simulating a natural convection turbulent boundary layer flow along a vertical plate and i am using the cyclic boundary condition in the spanwise direction. regarding cyclic boundary conditions, are they pretty much periodic boundaries? as in, the flow properties that exit at j=end, is the inflow condition at j=start? is my comprehension of a cyclic boundary right?
