Multiphase flows (oil with small particles)

I stumbled in to an interesting case where I would need to get most of the small particles in oil to collide with pipe wall (or other obstruction). In order to look into this I need to simulate how small oil particles (10 - 100 microns) flow in oil. What would be the preferred solver for this case?

You should give some indication of how many particles (concentration, volume fraction) you want to consider if you want a reliable answer.

If the flow is relatively dilute (particle volume fraction < 10%), you can use a lagrangian solver, while for higher volume fractions you need other approaches (Euler-Euler, for example).

Best,
