Hi
How could I apply energy equation in LES in Openfoam? I am going to simulate a channel flow. |

Dear mohammad,
you should use buoyantBoussinesqPisoFoam, please see: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...planation.html and http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Bu...sinesqPisoFoam. OpenFOAM's buoyantBoussinesqPisoFoam solver only can be used for RANS model, but you can change to both RANS and LES model. |

For a periodic channel flow you'll have to modify the code to be able to impose a constant pressure gradient or mass flow rate. Best,
