chtMultiRegionFoam near Wall Treatment/ Wallfunctions

Dear all,
I would like to set up some cases for the chtMultiRegionFoam but I have some problems to understand this solver:
In the tutorial a k-eps- turbulence model is used which is a High-Reynolds turbulence model. This one uses wall functions but I didn’t find any wall function definition neither at the walls nor at the fluid/solid interfaces. Also there no mut or alphaT file to define any wall or interface treatment for shear stress and the heat flux. I wonder if this makes sense.
Does anybody have some experience with this solver? Does it mean that the laminar sublayer has to be resolved for this solver? But which turbulence model is suited in this case? Is there a chance to check the y+-values a the fluid/solid interfaces?

Can anybody help to understand this?

Thanks in advance
