steady-state supersonic solver

:confused:I'm sorry I have so many problems, but I'm a new user of OpenFOAM.New I'm solving a steady-state supersonic fluid problem with OpenFOAM.Firstly,I chose the rhoSimpleFoam solver, but it did not work. There are some people saying it isn't suitable to solve supersonic flow.I need someone to recommend me a appropriate solver to solve steady-state compressible supersonic fluid problem.Thank you very much!:)

Sticking to the manual, there are only '"transient" solvers for supersonic flow, but of course they can be used to solve steady-state problems.
Personally I only use the sonicFoam solver, as it deals with viscid flow. To speed it up a little, I think that is the background of your question, time effort, in many cases for upwind discretization the courant number can be increased (say 10 - 15). Depends on the case. Later one can switch to second order schemes.

Thank you for your reply!I used the sonicTurbFoam solver to solve my problem ,it worked well. However,it cost a lot of time to get a convergence solution for the cells were small. Can you recommend a solver which can get the right result more quickly. Many thanks to you!
