error::: Attempt to cast type wall to type lduInterface

hi all,
i want to simulate a case in which there are two separate region with ggi interface in OpenFoam-dev.. when i do foamToVTK i get following error..
can somebody help?

Create time

Create mesh for time = 0

Deleting old VTK files in "/home/Rohini/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.5/tutorials/turbFoam/porousnew/VTK"

Time 0

Attempt to cast type wall to type lduInterface

in file /home/Rohini/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.5-dev/src/OpenFOAM/lnInclude/typeInfo.H at line 106.

Hi rcm, I got the same message error when I do foamToVTK, but when I take off my velocity field U from 0/ directory, it works...quite strange !

If you 've found the solution please don't hesitate to answer me, because I need my velocity !

ok I've got a mistake in my U file, it was a problem of wrong patch, I wrote a cyclic patch instead of zeroGradient...

hi
i had the same problem and i solved it.
you not only need to change all the internal boundary into cyclic but also you should change the boundary file in polymesh into cyclic
