I am using 'fluentMeshToFoam' command to convert Fluent mesh(around 900 MB in size). Its taking a lot of time to convert(computer hangs). Is there a better option to convert the mesh in less time.

Thank you

hi achinta,

1) which type of format is your mesh file. whether it is binary or ascii.

2) which version of openfoam you are using.

Regards

Naveen

Dear achinta,

can you give more details regarding your problem.

1) whether it is 2D or 3D.
2) How many cells are there in your mesh.
3) What type of problem it is.

Regards,

Naveen
