Hello to everbody,

im using a suse, 32 bit platform (server. the conection is made at the distance) and i have a problem in bliding my paraview. this are the error that im receving:

Does it exist a solution for this?

OK, that has happened to me, so I suspect you are running it remotely via VNC or similar. What happens is that ParaView needs OpenGL drivers and a graphics card attached to the display you are using, and VNC connections usually don't have a graphics card associated, although they do use an X display port.

As far as I know, you have at least 3 possible solutions:

1. use VNC to view a physical display; in other words, use a share desktop functionality. This way you will see a copy of what is happening in the real monitor display.
   But since you're accessing a remote SuSe server, I can only assume this option is impossible.
2. use ssh with "-X" option, when connecting to the remote server, which will make it possible to use OpenGL drivers on your local display, and the ParaView window will appear on your local desktop as if was part of your local system. Search for "ssh X11 forwarding" and you will get some more information about it and how to use it. NOTE: I've already used this one and it worked for me.
3. use ParaView's server system with OSMesa for software emulated OpenGL. This means that you can have a ParaView server mode in your remote connection, and hook up to your local ParaView. For this, you will need "ssh port tunneling" (search for it ) for transferring data from one port on the server to a local port. Then connect ParaView to the local port.    NOTE: I've read about this one, but haven't tried it yet.

If neither of these work, there is still a long shot of a possibility: building the client ParaView using local OSMesa. But sadly, I don't know how to do this
