New to CFD, could use some suggestions.

I would like to use OpenFOAM to simulate exhaust flow in an internal combustion engine exhaust system. It appears that OpenFOAM can do this readily with compressible sonic flow simulation. I would like to know more about what kind of boundary conditions could be used to simulate this situation. I would like to have time varying pressures and gas properties at the inlets, but am not sure how I can accomplish this, or if it is possible to emulate it somehow. I see there is a sinusoidal varying feature, so it seems feasible to adapt that if there is not one readily made.

I am currently reading in the Doxygen documentation, but advice from an experienced user could help immensely:).
