interFoam & cyclic condition

Dear Foamer's

I would like to know if for OpenFOAM 1.6.x version the interFoam solver even doesn't work with cyclic boundary conditions. If so, how could build a new solver using interFoam and channelFoam solver. If so, how could build a new solver using interFoam and channelFoam solver. If anyone has experience appreciate the advice to do the job

Thanks in advance

Hi

interFoam does work with cyclic boundary conditions, and you simply need to implement an additional body force or you could tilt the gravity vector relative to you initial plane surface. The latter will obviously also generate a current.

Best regards,

Niels

Dear Niels Gjoel Jacobsen,

I'm simulating a AxiSymetric case (microchannel) where gravity is not important. I use the SetField library to improve the convergence in my case but my gamma distribution remain constant over the time, which is not real. I would appreciate if you could take a look at my case to determine if this is completely correct.

My deep regards
