Dear all,
We are working on a arterial graft study of 3 to 5 mm diametre. We prefer to impose pressures at inlet and outlets. It concerns a pulsatile flow wich includes reversing of the flow at some instant. Currently we use timeVaryingUniformFixedValue for the pressure at the boundaries. Some questions have shown up:

- What would be the optimum the velocity conditions at inlet and outlet?
- Which solver for a laminar flow would be the best: icoFOAM, pisoFOAM, ...?

Currently we are using icoFOAM. But even with very small time steps the Courant number increases resulting into non-acceptable large values.

Thanks in advance,
Gerber
