Hi all, I was just guessing if (till today) someone has tried to implement in the OpenFOAM frame one of the RANS approaches for turbulence modeling with elliptic relaxation near the walls (I mean Durbin's v2f model or its modification called zeta-f model). I know that in OpenFOAM-1.6 there are many RANS modeling options, but it doesn't seem that anyone of them is one of the mentioned above...
Thank you in advance

I learn Elliptic relaxation models in S. B. Pope' s "Turbulent Flows". It seems very very successful in complex flows with adverse pressure gradients. However, what is the meanings " This model can not be used to solve Eulerian multiphase problems." ( in "Notes" of the website: http://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/V2-f_models)

I expect it can also solve phase-change problem well. Do you have some informations about this?

I'm sorry but I don't have an answer to your question because, till now, my knowledge of the elliptic-relaxation RANS models is still too superficial (I only know that they have a much better near-wall behaviour than the other classical k-epsilon approaches, due to the accounting of the wall-normal velocity component fluctuations)...
