matteoL is on a distinguished road
Hello,
I would like to couple OF with an external structural solver to do some FSI
and my first issue is:

- how do I sample/interpolate the stresses of a OF patch into a given set of points (i.e. the location of the point of the structural solver boundary)?

I mean, i pass to OF the location of the points of structural solver patch and he gives me back the stresses evaluated by OF on those points.

I was thinking to start from the patch-to-patch-interpolate class and modify it to do as i need, but it seems quite complicated.. otherwise i could start form the "sample/probe" classes, but i think they are not meant to be used for patch interpolation but rather for Volume sampling..
Or maybe somme GGI-interpolation..

has anything done something similar?
any idea?

Thanks,
Matteo

p.s: the OF boundary and the structural solver boundary are supposed to be coincident and are supposed to move in time..
