Fluent case to OpenFOAM conversion

Hey guys, I'm new to OpenFOAM, and still relatively new to Fluent, so bear with me, but I'd appreciate any help I can get.

I'm trying to recreate a Fluent case in OpenFOAM. I've already converted the mesh (using fluent3DMestToFoam), but setting the boundary conditions and other settings isn't getting anywhere. I've also already scaled the mesh, and you can ignore the parallel partitioning; I'm pretty sure I can take care of that later. Here's the Fluent settings I was using before:

grid scale 0.001 0.001 0.001
report reference-values velocity 30
define models viscous ke-realizable yes
define models viscous near-wall-treatment non-equilibrium-wall-fn yes
define operating-conditions reference-pressure-location 14 2 2
define boundary-conditions zone-type car wall
define boundary-conditions zone-type ground wall
define boundary-conditions zone-type wall wall
define boundary-conditions zone-type inlet velocity-inlet
define boundary-conditions zone-type outlet pressure-outlet
define boundary-conditions wall ground yes motion-bc-moving yes shear-bc-noslip yes no 30 1 0 0 no no 0 no 0.5
define boundary-conditions wall car yes motion-bc-stationary yes shear-bc-noslip no 0 no 0.5
define boundary-conditions wall wall yes motion-bc-stationary yes shear-bc-spec-shear no 0 no 0.5 no 0 no 0 no 0
define boundary-conditions velocity-inlet inlet yes yes no 30 yes no 1 no 0 no 0 yes no 0.1 no 0.1
define boundary-conditions pressure-outlet outlet no 0 no yes yes no 0.1 no 0.1 no no
solve set under-relaxation pressure 0.1 mom 0.1 k 0.1 epsilon 0.1
solve set discretization-scheme pressure 12 mom 1 k 1 epsilon 1
solve set gradient-scheme yes
solve monitors residual plot yes
solve monitors residual check-convergence no no no no no no
solve initialize compute-defaults velocity-inlet inlet
parallel partition method principal-axes 4

I should probably note that this is for a car inside of a control volume, if you haven't guessed. OpenFOAM's more independent case filing has gotten me confused; I'm not quite sure which information goes where. In addition, I'm rather confused on OpenFOAM's terminology on boundary types, if anyone could clear those up - are there set boundaries like velocity inlets similar to Fluent?

I know I'm asking a lot, but anything you've got is well appreciated.

Check the tutorials in User Guide.

Hai umichsct,
I am familiar with FLUENT but not openFOAM. So I am not sure about this just convert using FluentMeshToFoam instead of Fluent3DMeshToFoam for further details :- http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/FluentMeshToFoam . Remember before that check your conversion steps for Fluent3DMeshToFoam with :- http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Fluent3DMeshToFoam & http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/MRFSimpleFoam .After this try also your problem exists, sorry.

Hi Foamers,

Is it possible to use a Fluent case & data as initial value for OpenFOAM?

I need to convert not only the mesh but also cells fields value.

Is it possible to import CGNS format to OpenFOAM 1.7?
