Hello, everyone. I want to compute the flow of pipe as show in the picture below by pisoFoam, which include small inlet1 of 1.2m/s, big inlet2 of 0.5m/s and one outlet. Now I have two question. First how should I set the value of k and epsilon at wall boundary. Second what are nutilda and R in 0 file when using pisoFoam and how should I initialize them.

Hi,
I can not see any picture. However, take a look at the CFD-Wiki, the calculation of k and epsilon is explained there: http://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Turbu...ary_conditions

For a first try, set bc like in the piso or other ras tutorials.

Thanks for your reply! Yesterday I have resolved the problem using simpleFoam with BC of fixed k and epsilon value. :) Then I will try to resolve the problem using other RAS solver.
