Dear All,

I wonder if anyone can help me with the following error I get when I try to configure deal.ii:

----------------- configuring F77 compilers -----------------
checking for gfortran... /usr/bin/gfortran
F77 compiler is unknown but accepted gcc version
configure: error: No compiler options for F77 compiler
"gcc-other" specified: modification of aclocal.m4 necessary

I have searched a lot in google, but without any success. SO any kind of hint would be very valuable.

You seem a bit lost. This is the OpenFOAM forum, not the deal.II forum!
They already have a forum like system, more specifically a mailing list: http://www.dealii.org/mail.html

It's just that posting here you will probably not get any assistance for deal.II
