In addition, a new cyclicSlip boundary condition has been introduced, particularly for mesh motion, that applies slip behaviour for point motion but which also keeps points on the cyclic in sync with those on its neighbour cyclic patch.

Thanks, HPE for sharing this update log. But I have to confess I don't fully understand how to use it by this sentence.

I believe it's illustrative to bring an example in which cyclicSlip rather than cyclic has to be used.

- There seems to be tutorial involving `cyclicSlip`: https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop...tchDict.cyclic

- Otherwise, please bring your own non-working example.

Well, I was don't have any non-working example. I was looking at different cyclic BCs to make sure about the one I'm using (which happens to be cyclicAMI).

For cyclicSlip I couldn't find any documentation but your link (as well as this documentation convinced me that it's a better implementation of the cyclic BC. I'm not sure still and would appreciate it if anyone points out if I'm wrong.

The tutorial given in this link has cyclic BC:
