Hi
I am a new user of OpenFOAM, and was trying to use the solver XiFoam for pre-mixed combustion. I was wondering if we can perform pre-mixed combustion calculations, but include multi-step reactions. Can XiFoam be used for this? I know reactingFoam is another solver that may be used for multi-step chemistry, though I am not sure how to perform pre-mixed combustion calculations using it. Can anyone provide some directions? Another question I had was whether XiFoam can be directly used for oxy-combustion as well. Please do reply! Thanks! GK |
