Coupled Flow model

Dear Foamers,

a few questions.

I noticed, rhopSonicFoam has been removed in OpenFOAM 1.7.1.
Why?
Is there another "Pressure-density-based compressible flow solver"?

Are there some other solver, which use a "Coupled Flow model", or exist only solver for a "Segregated Flow models"?

Quote:

The Coupled Flow model solves the conservation equations for mass and momentum simultaneously using a time- (or pseudo-time-) marching approach.

The Segregated Flow model solves the flow equations (one for each component of velocity, and one for pressure) in a segregated, or uncoupled, manner.

Hi,

I have no idea why the solver is missing. Other solvers like rhoSonicFoam are missing as well.

About the coupled solver, there is no coupled solver in OpenFoam. OpenFoam ext. will have an incompressible coupled solver as far as I know.

Regards,
Christian
