Hello, guys, my objective is to calculate 2D laminar premixed flame with reduced chemical kinetics. So I want to implement a DNS solver that can handle this problem. Then I compare two solvers dnsFoam and reacingFoam. I think if I set a case without turbulent model and calculate it using reacingFoam with laminar is selected in turbulent model. Then I am using DNS method to calculate the flow and reaction. Only problem is that there are not any high order numerical schemes. Am I right?
Looking forward to your reply, thank you very much. slanth sincerely |

How is everything going on? It seems that schemes do not matter if you have enough gird resolution. And the LES solver can automatically become a DNS solver, given enough resolution in space and time. http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...s-dnsfoam.html |
