Hi

how can implement the velocity in angled pipe as boundary condition in openfoam solvers when the velocity components are unknown(Ux , Uy , Uz)? and only the velocity /U/ magnitude in direct of pipe is defined.

The only thing I can think of is writing a boundary condition that measures the velocity components at the wall, scale these components such that mag U is as you want and then update the value. I didnt check the code but maybe the partial slip B.C. is a good starting point for this.
