how to use paraview
 

Hello!
I have some problems with displaying my task. I want to have a picture like that http://i017.radikal.ru/1102/32/dfe86178feb5.jpg

But how can I display? If I choose internal mesh (where i have streamlines), i couldn't see ground and building. And is I want to see streamlines, I couldn't see building.

Has paraview some filter to display different layers of one part mesh?

I'm not exactly sure, but I think what might be useful to you is the filter "Extract Block". You can load all of your meshes (internal and boundary) and separate them out (even have pseudo duplicates) that you can applu different filters on.

mturcios777,thanks for replay, but this is not what I need. My problem is: I have a building, and ground around it. The boundary conditions are fixed. So I couldn't see a change of pressure. Change of pressure I can see in internal mesh. But streamlines of velocity, I could see in internal mesh too.
So, I need to take my internalmesh, cut a bottom layer and only after that I could see streamlines in internal mesh. and silhouette of my building and ground.

Is there any filter?

If the building and the ground are boundaries from your simulation (say they are called "building" and "ground"), you can do the following:

1. Load internalMesh, building and ground
2. Use the Extract Block Filter to extract internalMesh
3. Use the Extract Block Filter to extract the building and ground (together if you want, or separately)
4. You can now run the stream lines filter on the extracted internal mesh
5. To get the image you want, make sure that only the streamlines and extracted boundary patches are visible
