Hey there Foamers. I am performing a free convection boundary layer flow over a constant temperature vertical plate and I have not been able to compute the right vertical station where the flow transitions to turbulence. Hence, I was wondering if there was a way in OpenFOAM for me to place an obstacle downstream in my mesh just so that I can induce instabilities into the boundary layer at the station of my choosing. Any takers? Thanks.
