Dear all,

When I am trying to implement a physical model in Openfoam. One critical problem comes out. I was hoping someone can help me out.

The problem is:
Vectors on the faces of a cell are known, how can I reconstruct the volume vector at the cell center?
It is a kind of inverse problem.

In addition, how can I get distance between P and N and it direction?

Thanks in advance.

As we known, Openfoam uses interpolate function to transfer volume vector into surface vector. Anybody knows how to do it inversely?

In addition, how to get d (distance vector from P to N)?

Thanks!
