al_pr is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone,

I'am a new user of OpenFOAM and I have to simulate a thermal heat storage with water and to compare the results with a CFX calculation. In my first try I used buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam, but the results were not satisfying enough.
I want to use buoyantSimpleFOAM or buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam with a variable density function for water, but until now I didn't find a solution to implement that. I've already read some posts in this forum here about icopolynomial, but I didn't find a solution for my problem.

Does maybe anyone have a suggestion, what I can do?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Alex
