Which filter is used?

Hi,
I am wondering which filter is used in openFoam case (eg. tutorial: pitzdaily).
in constant it is said : filter: simple
what is it mean?
i mean which one of known filters (G) is used?
Attachment is a table from page 563 of Pope which has filter types.
