Increasing Iter. number of GAMG in pimpleDyMFoam with GGI

Dear all,
I calculate a 3D wind turbine rotor using pimpleDyMFoam with GGI interfaces on OF1.6-ext. I'm confusing to find that the iteration number of GAMG for pressure solver gradually increases from initially 10 or so to around 250 times even flow had developed to quasi-steady state. When I stopped the run manually and restarted it, the GAMG solver starts from 10 times or so again. I'd like to know what kind of errors are included in this situation. I suspect it's not a GAMG issue but a GGI related issue. Any comments and suggestions are welcomed. Best regards, waku2005 |
