gradScheme Calculation

How does OF calculate gradient. Suppose Gauss linear is the chosen grad scheme. Which cells does it consider for calculating the gradient?
If the grid is cartesian (perfectly aligned with x,y and z axes), calculation of gradients on the faces of the cell is straightforward. But how does OF handle for a grid not aligned with x,y and z axes? |
