SAS Turbulence model in OpenFOAM -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Steven85 New Member Steven Zapf Join Date: Jul 2011 Posts: 1 Rep Power: 0	Hi all! I'm new in OpenFOAM and previously used CFX. When I checked the turbulence models available in OpenFOAM I was wondering why the Menter Scale Adaptive Simulation approach (SAS) is defined as an isochoric LES-model. As far as I know the SAS approach works well also for compressible flow. (at least in CFX) Is there any physical reason why it is not implemented into OpenFOAM for a nonisochoric solver?
