Effective diffusivity k , k-epsilon model -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Eren10 Member The True Join Date: Dec 2010 Posts: 80 Rep Power: 15	Hi in the effective diffusivity k, the sigma_k constant is left out. In the most cases its value is assumed to be 1. Apparantly this term is not important. What is the reason behind it ? is it because the diffusivity is not known at all ?
